Build it. Wire it. Plumb it. Power it.

Building, electrical, plumbing and solar for Cape Town homes. One team and one number, from the foundations to the panels on the roof.

Four trades. One team on site.

No juggling four contractors and four quotes. Scroll down and watch one house come together, from the ground to the roof.

Building

Build it.

Every job starts on the ground. The foundations go in, the walls go up in brick and plaster, and the roof goes on.

Electrical

Wire it.

Before the walls are closed, the wiring goes in. A DB board, circuits to every light and plug, and the stove and geyser connected.

Plumbing

Plumb it.

Then the water. The geyser goes into the roof, hot and cold lines run to the bathroom and kitchen, and the drains run out to the street.

  • Burst pipes and leaks
  • Bathroom and kitchen fit outs

Solar

Power it.

Last, the panels go on the roof. An inverter and a battery sit next to the DB board, so the lights stay on when the power goes out.

  • Inverters and batteries
  • Backup power for the essentials

One house. Four trades.

Built, wired, plumbed and powered by one team, with one number to call.

How much solar does your home need?

Move the slider to your monthly electricity bill. You get a rough system size straight away, and Ronald checks the details on site.

You use about641kWh a month
Panel size3.3kW
Inverter3kW
Roof space16m²
6 panels of 550 W

Rough guide only. It assumes about 4.5 hours of full sun a day, which is typical for Cape Town, and 550 W panels. Check your price per unit on your municipal or Eskom bill. In Cape Town, the City has to approve solar and battery systems before they are switched on.
